Do you work out of a somewhere for your service or do you provide in-room service?
Jozefina is on-location style worker which means that I travel to you! The last thing you want to be doing on your wedding day is to fight traffic, get lost driving around Santorini and feel rushed and stressed. That is why I take all the anxiety out of your day by showing up on location with all the tools and product so that you can relax and enjoy a day of pampering.
What are the travel fees to come to me ?
There may be additional early morning fees.
How important is to schedule a trial?
While I have a reputation for creating beautiful bridal styles without a prior trial, I've never had a bride who regretted having one. If there are any worries about a specific style or event-day specifics that you want to discuss, I strongly suggest a trial. This allows me to explore and perfect your personalized style, possibly different from your original idea, without the added pressure on your wedding day. A trial may not be necessary for everyone, it depends on individual needs. The goal is to have a stress-free wedding day and having a trial can often remove some of the unknown variables that cause stress.
What should I do in preparation for my appointment?
A bride-to-be should definitely consider visiting a beautician for skin care treatments 2-3 months before the wedding. Cleansing, exfoliation, and skin nourishment will help improve the skin's texture, making it smoother and healthier, which will make makeup application easier and more flawless. Remember to allow enough time for multiple visits and to be consistent with your skincare routine for best results!
What should I avoid before my appointment?
Before your appointment, it's recommended to steer clear of cosmetic treatments that could cause skin irritation. This includes Botox injections, chemical peels, facial waxing, and spray tanning on the face. Such treatments can negatively impact the application and texture of makeup products. It's also a good idea to avoid using retinoid products a few days prior to the appointment, as they tend to dry out the skin.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
To ensure optimal results for hair styling, such as updos, half-up half-down hairdos, and pulled back styles, it's best to wash your hair the day before and have it dry before the appointment. Our stylists bring all the necessary products to achieve your desired look. For makeup, I suggest to be with just a moisturizer applied to your face.
What are individual fake lashes are they the same as Eye lash extensions?
I offer an exceptional individual lash application that creates a flawless, full and lush appearance. This style is perfect for pictures and even looks stunning up close. These are temporary lashes that come off when you wash your face, although some brides have managed to keep them on for more than a day with careful handling. They are not Lash Extensions, which are applied with a permanent adhesive and last 2-3 weeks. Many of the brides in my portfolio have opted for this individual lash application, as it provides a customized look that fits your eye shape and style needs.
But if you want to have stunning lush lashes for a long vacation, then take care to extend them in advance.
How should I have my hair before styling?
For the best styling results, it's crucial to have freshly cleaned and completely dried hair. The idea that slightly dirty hair is better for styling is a myth and should be disregarded. Clean, dry hair provides the ideal foundation for styling.
But if you have your own preferences, please tell me what's best for you.
What products do you use?
At every appointment, I come prepared with the necessary equipment to perform the services. My makeup kit is expertly assembled with an assortment of my favorite high-end products. If you have a preferred brand, feel free to bring your own makeup or let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate your request. My hair kit includes a range of hair tools and brush sizes to achieve a variety of hairstyles. I ensure that all products are thoroughly cleaned and sterilized before each appointment.
I have frizzy curly and or / African American Hair how should I prep the hair?
For those with frizzy or curly hair, a pre-styling blow-out is recommended to smooth and seal the cuticle, resulting in a style that lasts longer. Please let me know in advance if you would like this service, it will be extra time and extra charge. For African American hair, I may suggest a silk press or press and curl prior to styling. Although I do not offer these services, I ask that you have them done before your appointment.
I can’t decide if I want my hair up or down, what you recommend for Santorini Wedding?
When choosing a hair style, there are several factors to consider such as the design of your dress, length of your hair, and desired overall look. I am happy to help you navigate these details and come up with a style that suits you. Please keep in mind that Santorini can experience hot and windy weather at certain times of the year. A hair up-do will keep your hair off your neck and maintain the style, while loose curls with hair down are romantic and popular but may be affected by the weather conditions.
Do you recommend Extensions?
It depends entirely on the style you want! A lot of times I can achieve an impressive updo without the extra hair and sometimes the extra hair is paramount in creating a particular look. It just depends on the amount of hair you have and what effect you are going for. Clip in extensions are another option and can be bought online or at some salons. I recommend getting them cut and colored to match your hair color before the wedding day and shampoo and dry it before our appointment.
Is tip included in my wedding quote?
